Review Summary:

Overall, the new brunch menu from District 10 could be a good choice for your weekend brunch with family or friends if you happen to live in the West, and especially for families with young kids, this would be a great place to enjoy your meal while letting your kids have some fun of their own as well!

District 10 Bar Tapas Restaurant

We were invited to review this establishment.

Who doesn’t love brunch foods? It is pretty much the only thing worth getting out of the house for on a Sunday morning – the promise of tasty eggs and pancakes got the gluttons in us all excited. So when District 10 invited us to sample their new brunch menu, we couldn’t say no!

Although District 10 is a bar restaurant with modern and sleek furnishings, they are also kid-friendly with a kids menu that can be colored on, and an inflatable playground to distract them while waiting for the food to be served. (Pretty sure my little brother would be jumping all over it if not for the (rather legitimate) fear that the playground would burst!)

District 10 2

There are both air conditioned indoor and alfresco dining areas.

District 10 3

District 10 Eggs Benedict ($16)

District 10 6

The poached egg was of the right texture, not over/undercooked. Although we think there could’ve been more hollandaise sauce though. Greens were fresh; hashbrowns were ordinary. Tomatoes were juicy and plump!

Pizza ($14)

Very thin crusted pizza (just the way we all love it) with plentiful amounts of ham and cheese, deceptively simple but divine dish.

District 10 5

Spanish Omelette ($14)

It was very creamy and runny, with bell peppers to give it that extra crunch ad texture. Very fragrant, this is perfect for a light brunch! Unsure if they missed out on the dressing for the greens in the eggs Benedict, but the greens here had a slight vinegar tangy taste whereas the greens in the Eggs Benedict only had plain olive oil.

District 10 4

Pandan Coconut Pancake ($9)

The pandan pancakes were definitely something we’ve never had before, while the pancakes were fluffy, it was on the bland side. Without the Gula Melaka dip, there wouldn’t have been much of a taste! This would be an extraordinary dish if the fragrance of the pandan had been a tad stronger.
