Story of Kinsa Sushi was founded by 3 young men to share the passion for Japanese dining. Coming from humble backgrounds, they believe that the experience of premium Japanese dining should not always come with an intimidating price tag. Hence, this hidden gem strives to bring affordable premium dishes to a wider target audience.

Kinsa Sushi offers a family friendly environment that caters to a larger audience with a lower price points. The menu presents a selection of premium dishes found in fine dining at a fraction of the price. Kinsa Sushi Serves Grade A4 Kagoshima Wagyu, Kagoshima Wagyu is the signature livestock produce of Kagoshima Prefecture, South-West of Japan. Being graded as A4 quality on the Beef Standard (A5 is the highest on meat quality score), the Kagoshima Wagyu is known for the rich flavor from its premium marbling. Enjoy the savory cut of premium dining at Kinsa Sushi with affordable prices.

Kinsa Sushi’s Exotic Seafood Tank Apart from the usual sashimi choices, other exotic seafood can also be consumed as sashimi. These alternatives are found in many fine dining restaurants and customers may request for more than one culinary method in preparing the fish. Popular requests will be to have the meat as sashimi and a broth brewed with the remaining parts of the fish.

Kinsa Sushi brings in such exotic aquatic selections 2 to 3 times weekly to ensure quality and freshness with the ‘3-day rule’. This means that they only sell them as sashimi not more than 3 days after they have been caught. Do take a peek at their signature seafood tank for occasional interesting surprises! Customers are guaranteed affordable pricing on their selections with upfront pricing and no charges for various culinary preparations.

Kinsa Sushi is nestled in Hillview Rise, HillV2 offers a new upmarket retail and lifestyle experience to sophisticated urbanites and families living in the Upper Bukit Timah areas.

Do take note Kinsa Sushi has consolidated the operations to the Hillview branch with the closure of its Ang Mo Kio branch on the 9 May 2015.

The whitish broth was infused with all the sweetness and fragrance from the hours of simmering the pig bone. Chuck of Salmon fully absorbed the essence of the broth.

Salmon deep fried to a golden brown, lightly crisp, moist and tender internally, a dish hard to resist.

Same broth base with the salmon but The broth was more piquant with the juicy from the fresh Oyster.

Baked oyster with cheese was simply tantalising.

Deep Fried Oyster with Shiso Leaf – $13.90 (3 pcs)

The oozing of the juices from the deep fried Oyster was heavenly with the Shiso Leaf, an Asian culinary herb to enhance the flavour of the food.

There is really nothing can critic about the don with the A4 Kagoshima Wagyu beef, a good stir to mix the running egg with the rice with the tender and juicy beef was just fulfilling.
