The mee goreng was very well cooked that every strain of the noodles were soaked with the sauce that creates a rich flavour with pleasant scent. The mee is subtle and superiorly prepared to reflect the best of the mee goreng.

Mee Goreng 马来炒面

Our Malay traditional yellow noodle dish has somewhat make its way into the local food community with the Chinese or Indian improvised version can be found in many of the stalls or restaurants. However, one thing has never changed, we still named the dish “Mee Goreng”, this is an unique part of Singapore and very encouraging to see the integration of difference heritage comes together to share and promote our culture.

Most of the cafés around the isle are more emphasis on the environment by creating a cosy and relaxing surrounding to attract the customers and food somehow becomes the backstage of the show. However, not the case for The Bark Café, located just right besides the Changi Chapel & Museum, the café provides a wide spectrum of foods consist of local and Western fusion with an idyllic secluded surroundings. Most importantly, you will impress the quality of the food here besides the great ambience.

Some of the “Must Try” orders include the Seafood Hor Fun, chicken wings, potato wedges and mee goreng. The mee goreng was very well cooked that every strain of the noodles were soaked with the sauce that creates a rich flavour with pleasant scent. The mee is subtle and superiorly prepared to reflect the best of the mee goreng. Good food asides, be prepared to pay more for this dish at The Bark Café and cannot expect food court or hawker centre price.
