For all Coffee drinkers, Christmas also brings about another good news – Christmas edition drinks for the limited period only.

Dark Chocolate Hazelnut Truffle (A)

A relatively light drink that you won’t get sick of, the dark chocolate, hazelnut and truffle were not very prominent.

Double Chocolate Peppermint Mocha Latte (B)

The drink was very rich of chocolate (in a good way!) with a tinge of peppermint on the side, this was my favourite out of the three.

Winter Dream Tea Latte (C)

It’s actually peppermint stick latte, and since this was a blind taste test, I thought it was diluted milk tea. Only a rare few liked this drink and some even found it weird, so this is for the adventurous souls!

On top of these 4 drinks, they also have their all-time favourite Red Velvet Hot Cocoa which we sadly weren’t given a chance to try ):

Perfect for those that make sure they cover their slice of bread with MULTIPLE layers of peanut butter, this might be a bit too heavy for some!

Christmas Chicago Cheesecake (1.6kg RP – $62, Online $52)

This is extremely addictive, a must try for all cheesecake fans! You can’t go wrong with the light texture of the cheesecake that’s rich in flavour.

 

Cranberry Panettone (500g RP – $48, Online $38)

The traditional Italian holiday bread filled with cranberries, nuts and citrusy orange.

Christmas Stollen (1kg RP – $39, Online $29)

Fruit cake with mixed peel, juicy raisins, crunchy almond flakes and heady stolen spices covered with icing sugar.

If you’re into something more bite sized, with larger variety there’s the Christmas Partypack containing 20 cubes of the Christmas Stollen, Fruit Cake, Apple Cream Puff and Noisette that sells at $45 (RP) and $35 online.

For those that prefer adorable looking cupcakes with the Christmas Décor, the cupcakes are also available in a pack of 20 with flavours like Apple, Banana, Chocolate, Cranberry and Blueberry, sure to leave you spoilt for choice! The cupcakes also sell at $45 (RP) and $35 online. Lovely right?

Of course, Christmas is incomplete without some log cake decorating! CBTL broke all of us bloggers into groups of 4 and gave us a huge task at the end of the food tasting session – to decorate the mini log cake with the best of our abilities and the best decorated log cake that wins (by vote) gets to walk away with CBTL’s coffee machine!

Needless to say we were all hard at work, and after much stressing out since I have zero artistic bones in my body, I was extremely thankful to have brought artistic coffee connoisseur Rachel to the event and be paired with the pretty blogger Karen Ng who suggested doing a rainbow on the top which led to us winning the prize…)
