The name Loading Bay the Bistro reflects its unusual location of this new kids on the block. Hidden in the basement in an industrial site, the eclecticism characterized design draws multiple concepts featuring wall art, gallery chic, vintage corners and provides an unsophisticated cosy setting ideal for social gathering.

Located in the Chai Chee Technopark, the sheer space is a plus here, when we visited the cafe over the Saturday’s evening, we were the only customer and welcomed us was a complete emptiness of the cafe. The secluded location may explain the lack of traffic but we have no complaints to enjoy a moment of tranquility.

“Eat whatever you want, and if anyone tries to lecture you about your weight, eat them too.” An interesting quote prominently displayed on the wall.

The standard of the food here are generally acceptable but will not blow you away, wallet friendly price is the plus here as many items are less than $10 and with reasonable serving portion.

Loading Bay the Bistro Our verdict:

At loading bay cafe, food may be generic and stodgy, however, the unsophisticated ambience provides an idea communal space, take a sip of the beer and relax on the cosy sofa or throw in few bucks to have a game of two playing at the pool table with friends, just decelerating the pace of life to the crawl, you will realise this is not at all bad to give ourselves a break in our hectic lifestyle.
