Ming Guan Seafood White Bee Hoon – Worth to try
“The white Bee Hoon at Old Airport Food Centre is quite good.” our reconnaissance team tipped us off after patronizing the stall.
When it comes to white bee hoon, Sembawang White Bee Hoon is eminent in the competition and has clearly set the mark. There is no lack of white bee hoon stalls around but most of them can only play a backstage role, be it the white bee hoon from the Changi Village or the zi char stall from the coffeeshop at Ang Mo Kio. We have different opinions with most of the raved reviews.
How about Ming Guan Seafood White BeeHoon?
It still can’t hold the candle to the famous Sembawang White Bee Hoon in terms of flavour and deliciousness, but a consolation prize is well deserved. The rich and aromatic gravy created a beautifully subtle sweet and savory flavour that made every taste bud come alive instantly.
A $10 serving came with six big prawns, copious amounts of fried lard and you can taste the seafood flavour muddled up with all other ingredients in the gravy. This complemented the noodles well and created a truly tantalizing Hawker delicacy. What’s missing was perhaps the eggs which could elevate the flavours a lot.
Ming Guan Seafood White Bee Hoon knows their stuff well, which is important to compete and survive in the wave of white bee hoon craze. For the white bee hoon lovers, there is now another choice to please your taste buds.
